Both the colleges you have mentioned are chosen by many students and they have quite moderate reputation. 

The straight forward answer is that School of Engineering and Technology is a better college than that of the APS Bangalore. School of Engineering and Technology have a better laboratory, library, classes and infrastructure available which is one of the important thing one need. Apart from this, there are more number of faculty members available in the School of Engineering and Technology who have better qualification compared to that APS Bangalore and also the faculty members have quite a good diversity.

We all know  that in any engineering college the top most scores is computer Science engineering so it is same here in DY Patil college of engineering and technology. The most preferred course is CSE and second most precious is electronic and communication. Cause it's a general hype that has been created among the students in India.
