No, CAT is not mandatory for an Executive MBA at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The eligibility for an executive MBA is:

1. Graduate from a recognised university with 50% aggregate marks and 45% aggregate marks for SC/ST.

2. Full-time employee at the time of application and having 2 or more years of experience.

3. Graduate from full-time work experience is exempted from written exam.

4. Selection is based on Personal Interview.

After the declaration of the CUET score the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain Deemed -to -be University had released its cut off list according to the courses. Since the university accept CUET courses for few course only like B.Sc, BCA and B.Tech, the CUET cut off  list carry information according. The list consists of

1.Name of the course

2.Cut off score category wise (OBC, ST, SC, General and etc.)

3. Seats for the course 

 4. Seats remaining ( in consecutive lists)

The CUET score has been released and Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain Deemed -to -be University has also released the rank list for CUET counseling. This rank list is based on score from all the participants universities. The university will forward the mail for counseling. There will be minimum 2 rounds of counseling. One of them being in online mode and other face to face.  The selection will be doen on score basis ( cut off) . The JET exam for B.Tech is of 150 marks having 5 subjects- Physics (30), Chemistry (30), Mathematics (30), LR (30), English (30). Time is 3 hours in online mode.

The cut off for JET  B.Tech is released rank wise and the result can be accessed by the official sites. The cut off varies from course to course because of the seats available and the applicants for the course received.

To apply in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jain Deemed -to -be University the selected students  are called for the counseling session . Since the CUET score is accepted  only for B.Sc and BCA  these counseling sessions are given on merit bases and these . After attending the counseling session the student has to pay confirmation fees. This ensures the locking of seat as a provisional and tentative addmission. After shortlisting of candidates the seat is the confirmed.
