Dear Ishika, every university have their own requirements such as TOEFL, IELTS,SAT, Portfolio requirements.etc. A portfolio where you must highlight your creativity, sense of design, work of art is very essential for admissions. These are available on an university websites alongwith portfolio formats.Please visit a few university websites such as Fashion Institute of Technology and Kent State University,USA.

Most colleges have a different provision for admission based on course offered, duration, study module etc. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

At NIFD, maximum age limit is 23 yrs as on October 1st every annum for their Bachelor's programmes. But I do not think there is age limit in autonomous institutions offering summer courses
