FMS and IMI are the only two good B-schools for pursuing MBA/PGDM in Finance. However, both consider scores of only CAT. The other B-schools (apart from these two) are not really worth taking admission; consider them only as backup.

MIT is not the best B-school for pursuing MBA in Finance, though it is a decent backup option for pursuing MBA:

Finance will deal with funds management and it takes into consideration public finance, personal finance, business finance, principles of management, project management etc. It deals with corporate finance, costing, budgeting, working capital management etc. It has scope in various field of finance such as Financial Audit, Financial Management, Capital Management, Economics, Strategic Management, International Finance etc.

Hi Prakhar,
Unlike most other PGDMs and MBA programmes, PGDM at NDIM is unique as the students graduate with 'Dual Specialization' rather than 1 major and 1 minor specialization as in most other b-schools. Students pick up 2 Major Specializations out of HR, Marketing, Finance, IT & Systems, Media Marketing & Communication, Logistics-Supply Chain Management & Operations and International Business. MBA with two Specializations multiplies the career opportunities and opens up wider options.
And, you need to choose your specialisation after 1st semester.
