Did my BBA specializing in Digital Marketing at Asian School of Business, and yes, adding separate skills like graphic design or AI tools only helps, never hurts your CV. Recruiters actually like seeing initiative beyond the core degree. Just make sure the skills are genuinely relevant to your career direction, not random additions.

Yes, definitely. In fact, I'm beginning to understand that an English Literature background can be quite relevant to marketing, although there is a learning curve when you enter an MBA.
I come from an English Literature background, and before starting my MBA at IMI Kolkata, I was unsure about how much my previous academic experience would translate into a business environment. Marketing, however, is one area where I can already see the connection.
Literature teaches you to understand people, analyse different perspectives, communicate ideas clearly and pay attention to how language influences the way something is perceived. These skills

That depends on the college or university you are enrolled in. Most colleges let students switch between specializations in the first semester or frist year.
This is because in the starting two semesters, students are taught foundational subjects that are the same for all specializations. But you have to check with your college counsellor for more details.

You can get admission in BBA Marketing without giving an entrance exam. Several colleges in India provide admission based on the 12th standard result.
However, it is essential that you look into the eligibility criteria for that college on its website.

The decision will entirely depend on the objective. The BBA in Marketing is an excellent degree for some people. This is a three-year programme that offers knowledge in management, branding, and advertising. Those candidates wishing to pursue careers in management and marketing opt for this degree program.
A Digital Marketing Certificate, on the other hand, can take weeks or months. The programme offers training on the application of SEO tools and social media ad generation. An ideal option for entrepreneurs willing to increase their online presence would be the certificate.
