That is true with every college, and after you come into one you realise that it's true for all, including a lot of famous ones. But then the area you have taken is something you will get top recourse for free so you can do it on your own and the faculty helps, if you have questions.

In simple words, there is great scope in India on game development. Believe me, you can make a game and publish it totally no cost of money only need time and patience. Seriously try these software below:
Start learning Python programming language. Game engine: GO DOT ENGINE. It is completely free, simple, very easy and powerful. But must learn first GD script it is a python like scripting language use in GODOT. For 2d drawing use KRITA, FIREAPALCA, GIMP, and for vector art INKSCAPE. For 2d animation use DRAGONBONE
For 3d use BLENDER. For sound use AUDACITY
And now when you complete your game publish it in AMAZON APP STORE, ITCH.

Yes, they will teach game programming in B.Sc game designing and development. The course focuses on the art and design of computer games and animation where students will concentrate on specific needs as a professional game artist, designer, developer, and animator. The course helps in computer science, including writing computer programs in the core languages such as C and C+, with a solid grounding in the humanities, social sciences, and fundamentals of art.

Hello Mohit Bhoir,
It's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in the field of computer games. For gaming, a student needs a lot of passion for learning the rudiments or the tricks of designing games. It would have been great if you have taken computer science as a subject but is not a bar for what you want to do in life. There are plenty of students who had taken even commerce or arts in their boards and yet came into this field of gaming development. Just do not be worried or afraid, have confidence in yourself and I am sure you will do well in this field.
Best wishes to you.
