1) Try to avoid trust in morphed media ranking (not all media), sometime it happens to promote the college brand name in students mind.
2) don't run or get lured by the call of 100 prcnt placement. If you are in bulk hire and fire offers are offered. It does not make any sense to you.
3) don't run behind INR 9.6 Lacs CTC per annum. Always check in hand salary or take home salary.
4) Check the job profile and not the brand name.

Yes, the admissions in DU are largely merit based. Although the university is changing its norms every year and is gradually making the admission process to be based on entrance examinations rather than merit. But as of now, cut-offs play a major role in admission. Every college has a different percentage cut-off and mostly 3 or more cut-off lists are published consecutively. You will have to keep a tab on newspaper to track the cut-offs.
