No, to get admissions in MSc course the candiate have to be graduate with minimum 50% to 60% aggregate. However, for MSc Biotechnology, the candiates need to secure 45% aggregate at GIET Gunupur University.

There are no certain percentage requirement is fixed at GIET University for MSc course. However, students who are willing to take admission in MSc Life Science, Chemistry, Maths is from 50% to 60% aggregate. However, MSc in biotechnology, the student need to pass in BSc Biotechnology / BSc with Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology /Physics /Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences/ Agriculture / BVSc /BTech Biotechnology/BPharma /BAMS/BHMS/BPT and any other related discipline with not less than 45 % aggregate.

No, GIET university does not conduct any entrance exam for MSc course. The student will get admission in MSc course on basis of merit based. However, the candiate need to be graduate with 50% aggregate. Furthermore, for MSc in biotechnology, the student need to pass in BSc Biotechnology / BSc with Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology /Physics /Chemistry/ Environmental Sciences/ Agriculture / BVSc /BTech Biotechnology/BPharma /BAMS/BHMS/BPT and any other related discipline with not less than 45 % aggregate.

A total of 15 scholarships amounting to INR 12,500 per month each are granted by GIET Gunupur for the students seeking admission to the M.Tech program.

It is a full-time residential scholarship, wherein the scholar must spend 6-8 hours daily in their respective department. Moreover, the scholarship amount includes the cost of hostel accommodation as well.

For 50% of seats, addmission will be done on the basis of JEE main exam. The candidates have to register on the OJEE website of counseling. The remaining seats are filled on the basis of GIETEE/JEE Mains or other national-level entrance exams.
