No, admission to GIET University is mostly determined by entrance. But for some courses, the university also admits students based on merit. After receiving a legitimate score on the recognised entrance exam, candidates are shortlisted and, if necessary, counseled. Course-specific entrance requirements must be met in order to be admitted to GIET University. Candidates must submit a valid score from another recognised exam or take the university-level admission exam, the GIETEE. Hence, the university does not offer direct admission.

The refund policy at GIET University states that payments made for fees are difficult to recover except in situations involving payment system technical errors.
Higher education institutions need to follow the University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines under which they have to provide full refunds for cancellations done before September 30, 2024, but must charge a maximum 1,000 processing fee after it. You are suggested to contact the college administartion department to get more details.
