"To get into Government College of Engineering M.Tech with 70% in class 12th, you need to have a valid GATE score and a strong academic record. The GATE cutoff scores vary depending on the course and category, but most M.Tech programs at GCE have a cutoff of at least 80%.
In addition to your GATE score, your chances of getting into GCE M.Tech will also be improved by a strong personal statement, good letters of recommendation, and a strong academic record. You can also improve your chances by applying for courses that have a lower cutoff."
