You can write the National Defence Academy (NDA) examination after Class 12. You are in Class 9 as of now and will be applying for NDA 2028, provided that you clear Class 12 in 2028. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds the NDA test twice a year, usually in April and September.

The payment option in your NDA application form needs review because you should verify all filled sections before the option becomes visible. The payment option becomes available only after completing forms for personal information and preference selection and document upload. The payment area becomes unavailable when any field which has been marked as essential goes without completion.

Candidates need to perform NDA registration just once because the procedure requires them to register only for the initial examination attempt. General candidates must pay INR 100 for registration while SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment but should submit a single application form and finish the necessary document upload.
