The IBPS PO Prelims exam pattern was revised in 2025. The overall marks and the negative marking remain the same, but internally changes have been made in the prelims exam pattern. The marking scheme has been changed. Also, the marks for the Quantitative Aptitude have been reduced to 30 from 35, and on the other hand, the marks for the Reasoning section have been increased by 5, that is, from 35 to 40. However, the number of questions remains the same.

Revised Structure of IBPS PO 2026 Prelims Exam

The IBPS PO notification is likely to be released in June-July 2026. The details that will be given in the notification PDF are exam dates for both Prelims and Mains, vacancy, eligibility, Application process, selection procedure, exam pattern, syllabus, Important guidelines, etc.

The official notification has not been released for 2026. But as per the official notification released for 2025, the IBPS PO application fee was INR 850 for General/OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/ PwBD candidates inclusive of GST. 

• INR 175/- (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
• INR 850 /- (inclusive of GST) for all others.

It is to be noted that Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

As per the official notification, the Centre, venue address, date and time for Online Preliminary, Online Main examinations,
Personality Test and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the official IBPS website ibps.in by entering his/ her details including Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.
No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier. 

A total of 5208 vacancies are announced by the authority in IBPS PO 2025. Details of the IBPS PO vacancies is provided below:

This year, a total of 5208 vacancies were announced for IBPS PO 2025 exam. The highest number of vacancies were announced for Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra and Canara Bank that is 1000.  A total of 2204 vacancies were announced for General Category, 1337 for OBC, 782 for SC and 365 for ST. IBPS PO 2025 vacancies are given below.

No. A candidate can not edit the IBPS PO 2026 application form once submitted. It is crucial for a candidate to check once before submitting the application form.  

A candidate could fill out the IBPS PO 2025 application form online at ibps.in. The notification was released on June 30 for 5208 vacancies. The registration dates were July 1 to July 28, 2025.

The authority will release the IBPS PO 2026 notification at ibps.in. The application form online link will also be activated along with the notification. The IBPS PO 2026 application fee payment dates will be provided in the notification PDF.
