Government & Defence Entrance Exam

Following are the items banned inside IBPS RRB exam centre:

• Any stationery items such as bits of paper, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner
• Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band etc. is not allowed
• Other items such as goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, watch/wrist watch, Camera, metallic item, eatable items opened or packed are not allowed

Candidates are advised to analyze the previous years' cutoff, as it is a part of effective preparation. It also provides insights into the difficulty level of the exam, trends, and also the exam pattern or question pattern. It helps candidates to prioritize their preparation accordingly, set their targets, understand the important areas to focus on, make proper study plans, gain confidence, etc.

It is advised to the candidates to focus on both Prelims and Mains syllabus rigorously. Understanding and mastering the content will not only enhance their understanding but also improve their chances of success in the examination. He or she should practice previous year papers and also go through the exam pattern properly. Practice mock test and improve accuracy. 

In a UPSC IES 2025 exam, candidates can aim for 420 plus total marks or higher (Prelims + Mains + Personality Test) as a General category candidate. It is advised for the candidates to follow a good strategy that will help to gain a strong performance in all three stages.

The UPSC ESE/IES 2025 cutoff is determined based on the difficulty level of the exam (prelims and mains), the number of vacancies, previous years' trends, and the overall performance of the candidates. The cutoff marks may vary slightly across categories and branches.

To fill IBPS RRB application form, candidates need to upload certain documents. Following are the documents required to fill the application form:

• Scanned photograph and signature

• Scanned left thumb impression

• Handwritten declaration

• Valid ID proof

• Educational qualification certificates (for reference)

The steps to fill IBPS RRB exam through smartphone are given below.

• Go to the browser
• Enter ibps.in
• Click on the application form link
• A message will appear on the screen saying "The website is viewable only in landscape mode"
• Switch to "Desktop site". The option to change this is available in the browser
• Or else set your screen in auto-rotation mode. This will enable the landscape mode
• The application forms will appear the same as they appear on desktop
• The mode of filing and submitting the forms is also the same as that is done on the desktop
