Yes, there is a negative marking in the WBCS preliminary and main exams. In the main exam, the quantum of the negative marking is 10% of the marks assigned to the question. In the prelims exam, the negative marking is one by a third. It means that three incorrect questions can eat up the marks secured in the one correct answer and the result of those four questions will be zero. The negative marking makes the exam difficult. Negative marking was introduced to reduce the cases of guesswork in the exam.

No, the WBCS 2022 prelims result is expected soon. Along with the result. The Commission will issue the WBCS cutoff for each category. The analysis of the previous result shows that the candidates who score 65 per cent marks in the prelims exam are selected for the main exam. WBCS 2022 main exam is expected to be conducted in April 2023. WBCS prelims result 2022 is unexpectedly delayed indefinitely. There must be litigation pending against the exam which is delaying its result.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission potponed the WBCS 2023 prelims exam from November 5 to December 16. The Commission released the WBCS 2023 prelims admit card on December 1 for the candidates. The WBPSC will release the WBCS 2023 answer key online on December 17/18.

WBCS 2023 notification was released on February 26, 2023 and the applications were started on February 28. The Commission did not mentioned the number of vacancies in the West Bengal Civil Service Exam 2023.

The WBCS 2023 application form was started on February 28. The Commission accepted the WBCS applications online only. The candidates got 22 days to fill out the WBCS applications online. The last date to apply for the WBCS 2023 exam was March 21. The Commission provided the facility for WBCS application correction from March 31 to April 6 but such a facility was not activated.

The Commission did not release the number of vacancies in the exam. The Commission release the WBCS admit card 2023 on December 1 and the exam was conducted on December 16.

The WBCS applications 2023 were closed on March 21. The Commission did not extend the application dates. The Commission was expected to release the WBCS 2023 application correction facility on March 31 but such a facility was not provided by the Commission. The Commission will soon activate the WBCS application correction facility. The Commission released the official notification on February 26 and the application link was activated on February 28. NDA is the joint training institute for all three services-Army, Navy and Air Force. After joining the NDA cadet undergo training for three years. After graduating from NDA candidates are sent to their respective training academies for one year of training before commissioning. Army cadets are sent to the Indian Military Academy (Dehradun), naval cadets to the Indian Naval Academy (Ezhimala), and Air Force cadets to the Air Force Academy (Dundigal, Hyderabad).

Yes, the UPSC IAS 2022 vacancies were increased to 1022 (revised again). It now includes 150 vacancies in Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) which is recently notified as a Group A service. Earlier this number was less than one thousand. SEE here for details about the UPSC IAS vacancies. The candidates should note that the final result for the IAS 2022 exam will be declared for 1022 vacancies. The Commission is expected to release the final IAS 2022 result in the last week of May 2023. In the year 2023, over 11 hundred vacancies have been notified.
