NDA 2 cutoff for the written exam in 2021 was 355 whereas it was 726 for final selection. The final selection of candidates for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA was done based on the written exam and SSB interview. NDA cut off for the written exam is calculated out of 900 marks. The last selected candidates’ scores are used to determine the final selection cutoff, which is based on their performance out of 1800 marks (900 for the written exam and 900 for the SSB interview). In case, candidates wants to make changes in their OTR profile, it can be done only once in the lifetime after the registration at the OTR platform. The change in OTR profile data is available till expiry of 14 days from the next day after the closure of application window of the first final application for any examination of the commission. The steps to modify the OTR profile are given below:

Candidate should also have details of one photo ID such as Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government while filling the application form. Besides photo-identity proof, candidates are also required to upload their scanned photographs and signatures. Candidates need to bring the same photo-identity proof along with the admit card to the exam centre for appearing the written exam and SSB interview. NDA 2 application form 2023 was available from May 17 to June 6, 2023. The application form was released for admission to NDA and INAC for the courses commencing from July 2024. Candidates need to fill the application form online. The application form can be filled in two parts. Part 1 of NDA application form comprises candidate's registration, choosing the preferred branch, verifying details and generation of registration ID. NDA 1 result 2023 was announced on May 1, 2023. The result was announced online in PDF form. The result PDF displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Candidates qualifying the written exam of NDA are called for SSB Interview. The total marks allotted to the written exam was 900. NDA 1 2023 exam was conducted on April 16, 2023. The written exam consists of two papers, Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The Mathematics paper carries 300 marks while the GAT paper carries 600 marks. The total marks for the NDA written exam are 900. The Mathematics questions are asked from topics covered in Class 12 level. The GAT paper includes questions from English, General Knowledge, and General Science.

The number of SSC CHSL vacancies varies every year. The number of vacancies in the SSC CHSL 2024 exam were 3427 and in SSC CHSL 2021 exam were 6,072, and approximately 4500 vacancies were announced for the SSC CHSL 2022. The SSC CHSL vacancies are the most important component of the exam for two reasons.
