IBPS PO exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for the post of probationary officers in 11 participating banks. The selection process of IBPS PO include prelims, Mains and interview. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview. The marks of the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list.

The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) 2 application form was released on May 17, 2023 along with the release of the CDS 2 notification. The CDS 2 application form was open to apply for IMA (Indian Military Academy) INA (Indian Naval Academy), AFA (Air Force Academy), and OTA (Officers' Training Academy) to be recruited as commissioned officers till June 6, 2023. The UPSC activated the application correction window from June 7 to 13, 2023, for the candidates who wanted to make corrections to their application for any reason. The CDs 2 exam was conducted on September 3, 2023 for Maths, English and Genral Awareness.
