The Indian Coast Guard recently released a recruitment announcement for the Group A Gazetted Officer position of Assistant Commandant. In accordance with the number of openings for the position, candidates are chosen for the position of Assistant Commandant (Law) based on their performance in the PSB and FSB. Candidates applying for the law branch are exempted from the screening test portion of Stage I of the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Selection Procedure (CGCAT), according to the Indian Coast Guard's official website. The stages of CGCAT (law entry) are as follows:
Preliminary Selection Board (Stage II) -
Candidates will be evaluated using the Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT) and the Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT). The board of assessors (IO, GTO, and TO) recommends the candidates to the final selection board based on the combined grades of the CCBT and PPDT (FSB). Stage-III ( Final Selection Board) -
It is the same as the Selection Board (SSB) of other services. Medical Examination (Stage IV) -
Only those candidates who are declared fit by the SMB will be considered for final merit list.

The Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB NTPC to select candidates for non-technical popular categories (NTPC) graduate and undergraduate posts in various Zonal Railways and production units of the Indian Railways.
Following the qualifying written exam, the RRB NTPC Typing Test is conducted, and, according to guidelines, candidates would be required to type 300 words at a minimum speed of 30 words per minute (w. p. m.) in English or 250 words at 25 w. p. m. in Hindi on a computer within 10 minutes.
However, even if a candidate fails the typing skills test, they will still be eligible for other posts depending upon their merit in the written exam.
Some tips to clear the RRB NTPC Typing Skills Test are:
1. Focus on accuracy.
2. Practice to increase speed after gaining accuracy.
3. Set specific goals on a daily and weekly basis.
4. For the typing skills test, take as many mock tests as you can.
5. Analyze the time and speed of typing a particular phrase and improve with practice.
