The Railway Recruitment Board conducts multiple RRB exams, such as RRB NTPC RRB Group D RRB JE etc. , to select candidates for different posts in the railway units. It offers an excellent career opportunity for aspirants as government workers in the Indian Railways. The recruitment of the railways is handled by RRBs for Group C (Technical and Non-Technical) posts, and RRCs are given the responsibility of conducting exams for Group D recruitment. Recruitment to Group A and B posts in the Indian Railways is done through the Civil Services and Engineering Service examinations (ESE). The eligibility criteria for various posts is as follows :-
RRB Group D-
Age range: 18 to 33 years. Educational Qualification: Class 10 pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by the National Council for Vocational Training or Class 10 pass plus ITI. RRB NTPC -
The age limit for the undergraduate post is 18 to 30 years, and for the graduate post is 18 to 33 years. For undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Class 12th, while for graduate posts, candidates must have passed Graduation. RRB JE-
Age range: 18 to 33 years. For the JE position, you must have a three-year Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field from a recognised university or institute. For JE (IT), candidates must have PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/BCA/B.Tech. (Information Technology)/B.Tech. (Computer Science)/DOEACC B-level course of three years' duration or equivalent. CMA: Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum grade of 55%. The questions will be of an objective type, and the syllabus is as follows for RRB groups C and D:-
Mathematics- Time and Work, Distance and Time, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra Geometry and Trigonometry Elementary Statistics Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar and Clock, Pipes and Cisterns, and so on. General Intelligence and Reasoning-Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Directions, Statements, Arguments and Assumptions etc. General Science-Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level (CBSE)

Only Unmarried Male candidates who have completed 12th standard from any recognised board are eligible to join in Indian Army by appearing and qualifying NDA examination. So, being a female candidate and Diploma holder, you are not eligible to join in Indian Army. Eligibility criteria:-
Indian Military academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Officers Training Academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognised university. Age Criteria:-
Indian Military Academy: - 19 to 24 years

All the aspirants preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, having doubts about the Physical fitness for IAS Physical Test for IAS Officer, Medical requirements for IAS etc. This article will give some clarity on the Physical requirements for Officer preparing for IAS Exam. There is no height, weight and chest girth minimum requirement as such for candidates for the IAS unlike the technical services. However, if the candidates measurements are disproportionate as regarded by the medical board, the candidates can be hospitalized for investigation and chest X-ray can be taken. Please note the technical services have certain minimum requirements. Candidates should have a proper vision in the eyes. Corrections permitted are spectacles, CL and refractive surgery like LASIK, ICL, IOL, etc. Those who have myopia with macular degenerative changes will be declared unfit for service in the IAS. People with a squint in the eyes are fit for service. Night blindness is also not a ground for candidates to be declared unfit.
