RBI Grade B syllabus for Phase I for General post comprises topics from General Awareness, English Quantitative, and Reasoning. The Phase 1 exam comprises a total of 200 questions and the total marks allotted to the test are 200. RBI Grade B syllabus 2023 for Phase II exam comprises topics from Economic and Social Issues, English and Finance and Management. The Phase 2 exam carries both objective and descriptive-type questions. The objective section carries 30 questions and the descriptive section carries 90 questions. The total marks allotted to the each paper are 100.

The prelims exam of SBI Clerk is conducted in four shifts while the Mains exam is conducted in two shifts.
