Candidates get mail from HRD for document verification at their respective Zonal office in which they are selected. In the document verification date candidate should provide necessary documents as mentioned in the mail sent to them. After the final selection, the Bureau asks the selected candidates to get a health Certificate from the District Medical Officer or the District Surgeon. Yes, you definitely can join Indian air force. For that, you can either attempt CDS exam or AFCAT exam. After clearing the exam, you need to go through 5 days SSB interview procedure. And only if you clear the SSB interview, then you will be going through a medical test. After clearing all these you can finally step into the air force academy.

The promotion depends upon your place of posting so there might be some ups & down in career growth also it depends upon availability and vacate seat condition. Besides, you will be eligible for taking departmental examinations after giving services to 3 years continuously. Regular promotion is a little bit slow in this department comparatively others.

UPSC CAPF Exam is conducted every year to recruit candidates in various armed forces across the country. The candidates who are selected through this exam, join the forces as Assistant Commandant (AC). UPSC CAPF will release soon the notification to join the exam.
