Yes, you are eligible for UPSC exam. But there are some eligibility criteria which you need to fulfill in order to appear for UPSC exam. Nationality for IAS exam: Must be a citizen of India, a person of Indian origin or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet settled in India before 1st January 1962. Education Qualification for IAS exam: Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised University. It comprises 2 MCQ-based papers that are conducted on a single day. General studies paper 1, consists of 100 questions of 2 marks each. General Studies paper 2 (CSAT) consists of 80 questions of 2.5 marks each. However, CSAT is a qualifying paper. Only those candidates who secure at least the declared cut off in General Studies I and 33% in General Studies II in Prelims will be allowed to appear for the Mains Examination.
