SSC CPO Paper 2 exam is conducted online for 2 hours. The test paper carries 200 questions. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. Questions are asked from English Language and Comprehension. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers in the exam.

The duration of SSC CPO Paper 1 exam is two hours. The test carries 200 Multiple Choice Questions in SSC CPO Paper 1 from General Knowledge, General Intelligence, English, and Quantitative Aptitude. SSC CPO Paper 2 is not qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in Paper 2 are considered for final merit list. The SSC CPO selection process starts with SSC CPO Paper 1, then PET/PST examination, then Paper 2, followed by Detailed Medical Exam (DME), and Document Verification (DV).

SSC CPO exam is conducted in multiple shifts. Therefore, to adjust the difficulty level of the exam, normalization of marks is done. The result is announced based on this. Candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks and cut off.

There are negative marks in SSC CPO exam. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers in the exam. For correct answers, candidates score one mark. Candidates are advised to marks their answers properly in the exam to avoid negative markings.
