To be eligible for admission for the first year of Government Polytechnic College West Champaran students must have passed the 10th grade from a recognised board or council. Students who have passed ITI or vocational courses can be directly admitted to the 2nd year through the Diploma combined entrance competitive examination. Government Polytechnic supply civil engineering cut-off is 5 to 13000. The Government Polytechnic Tikari civil engineering cut-off is 5000 to 15000. Government Polytechnic West Champaran civil engineering cut off his 5000 to 15000. And Government Polytechnic Nalanda civil engineering cutoff 3000 to 8000.
