You should choose mechanical from Northern India Engineering College because it has wider opportunities.
The college has an internal society of mechanical students, which actively participates in competitions.
The crowd is also awesome.
The labs are also well-equipped and you will access a proper space for your practical work.
Last year, mechanical branch's package went high too. You would love to be a NIECian.

GB Pant University conducts it's own entrance exam every year. You can apply online for it and then keep looking for all the notifications like admit card and date of exam. A merit list will be prepared and according to which admissions are granted. It is the best agriculture university in India , so you have to work hard in order to get admission there.

The opening and closing rank for each college differs based on the caste you belong to.
It is same in case of G B Pant also.
The opening and closing ranks for mechanical branch the previous year is as follows-
FOR General its 42734 to 84048
For SC its 220069 to 323635
And for Other Backward Class its 63511 to 74073.

Hello ASD,
Yes, you can get admission in GB Pant University after clearing JEE mains exam. Your rank should be in the range of 50k to 80k. For CS branch, your rank should be in the range of 50k to 60k.
After this, you have to apply for the UTU state counselling and then if the seat is allotted to you in that then you have to report to the college within the given period of time.

First of all, you must have either a national rank below 30K or Uttrakhand domicile for GBPUAT because 85% of the total seats are reserved for Uttrakhand candidates, so to secure a seat a domicile is must . Apart from it, you can apply online for counselling, it's usually held by the end of July on the basis of your state rank (if you have a domicile) and the preferences filled you'll get a branch there are 2 online counselling rounds. After each round candidate are asked to report, if one fails to do so the seat is considered to be empty, however, there is a special 3rd round which is offline . It is known as spot round eve
