Candidates looking for course admission at NIT Uttarakhand must sit and appear for the entrance exam as per respective courses. NIT Uttarakhand selects candidates based on valid JEE Main score for BTech courses. Candidates are further allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. M.Tech admission to the college is entrance based with the institute accepting GATE scores. Hereafter, shortlisted students are invited for CCMT Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to PhD are shortlisted for written tests on the basis of GATE/NET/SET.
