To be eligible for an MA in Folklore Studies at Gauhati University, you need a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with a major or general course in any language/literature discipline or social sciences, and a minimum of 50% marks in your degree course. At Gauhati University, 80% seats in traditional programmes are exclusively reserved for GU students and remaining 20% seats are available for others.
