Hello Punit,
Whether you have taken admission via lateral mode or after 12th, it matters less during placement season. What matters is your academic record/performance, how you conduct yourself during the interview, etc. This institute has a reasonably good record of placing students. However, it all depends on the condition of India's economy when you pass out. Chances are that Indian industry would be booming by then. So, have no worries.

The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) conducts Haryana LEET which is an Online Entrance Test to offer admission to the interested candidates in the BE/B.Tech programmes under the lateral entry scheme. The candidates seeking admission will have to appear for an Online Entrance Test which includes various skill tests like technical, communicative, general awareness skills of the candidate. Hello Muskan,
Almost all the states conduct their exam for admission to many courses but they also offer admission on the basis of JEE Mains score as JEE Mains is the central exam and all the colleges are instructed to offer admission through this exam. But state colleges offer admission to almost 90% of the students via their own entrance exam and 10% on the basis of JEE Mains exam scores.
