YMCA UST Faridabad or J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology is a state government-owned university in Faridabad. Established in 1969, it was a joint venture of the National Council of YMCAs of India, Govt. of Haryana, and Central Agencies for Development Aid (Bonn, Germany). YMCA UST Faridabad has an Anti-Ragging Cell. The university premises has strict laws against any student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassing new students, among others. Hence, the freshers will never meet with this problem while studying in this university.
YMCA University follows the seat reservation criteria as suggested by the Government of Haryana. As per the official brochure, the university has reserved a total of 20% of the seats for admission of students belonging to the Scheduled Caste. Students must indicate their category while filling out the application form. No changes are made after the release of the merit list.
Yes, YMCA University BSc admissions are purely merit-based. As per the official brochure for 2024-25, the students are ranked based on their merit in Class 12. These ranks are further used to allocate BSc seats. Students seeking admission to BSc courses register and apply for their preferred course on the official website of the YMCA.
Aspirants with results waited can apply. However, in such cases, admissions are offered on a provisional basis. If the student fails to meet the eligibility criteria, the admission shall stand cancelled.

It can be very difficult to get mechanical branch at YMCA Faridabad as the general CRL rank is out of the range of cut off.
The EWS rank is also lower than the cut off range .
The competitive nature of the exam is strong so it requires a good rank for mechanical branch.
