IEC University has 120 seats available for BA programmes, while Himachal Pradesh University has 5,887 seats. Hence, HPU offers the most seats for BA programmes. This may be because many colleges and institutions are affiliated with HPU, and the seats listed here are available from the university and its affiliated colleges.

Hi.HPTU - Himachal Pradesh Technical University admission is both entrance and merit-based for programmes offered at UG and PG levels. A few popular exams accepted by the institution for admission are JEE Main, GATE, and CAT, etc. However, for admission to B.E. / B.Tech, BHM, and BHMCT, etc. courses, the college considers the scores of past academics for admission.

The entire fee for this B.Tech course at Himachal Pradesh Technical University varies from class to class and category of admission. Yes, HPU offers BTech/ BTech (Hons) Lateral Entry for three-years. Aspirants can apply for lateral entry in Information Technology, CSE, ECE, etc. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with other elective subjects with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for BTech (LE).
