By default, English is the medium for AMIE exams. However, if you have passed Diploma in Hindi medium then you may opt for Hindi medium in AMIE exams by following a certain procedure. Now comes your question of using mixed language (Hinglish) in AMIE exams. Successful completion of graduation, preferably in the arts stream, completed from a recognised university. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at the level of graduation.

Essay Writing section has been removed. Now, the exam has four sections. They are Verbal and Logical Ability (VA & LR), Decision Making (DM), Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI), General Knowledge (GK). As such no time limit is set for one question. There would be 74 questions of 3 topics (Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation ) and 25 question of General Knowledge and all these questions need to be attempted in 3 hours / 180 minutes.
