In my point of view, the research part of archaeology will be better than history as you will enjoy the process of learning things instead of learning only the textbook knowledge you will get to know the practical implementations as well.

I would suggest you to start searching for colleges as fast as possible, first track down top colleges in the country and then think about how much you can offord and some institutions would ask you to write exams or would take you in based on your intermediate marks

Hello Nibedita Biswas, for doing Ph.D. one needs to pass entrance exam or screening exam for Ph.D. prescribed by concerned University. Your marks at UG or PG level do not matter much. Some universities allow M.Phil candidates to take up Ph.D. without any entrance exam. You just need to seek advise from registrar of your intended university. Best wishes to you.

You can explore about law courses after 12th but some law colleges do not allow NIOS certification. You can explore about -
- vocational courses from good colleges
- hotel management courses
- journalism courses
- language courses like B.A. In English Spanish, etc. - You can enroll for any B.A. Course and prepare for government. Exam
You can explore about B.A. LL.B. And career prospects after it. Best wishes.

Hey Ankit to be an IAS officer you must appear for upsc cse . This only require graduation in any discipline. So you are eligible after BA only but if you want to study more then it is better to pursue MA in your optional subject.
