Shannon College of Hotel Management is considered a good option for international students for several reasons. Firstly,it is the only independent College of Hotel Management in Ireland, widely recognized all over the world by special hospitality and tourism courses. No, it is not hard to get into the Shannon College of Hotel Management although there are specific requirements for students to comply. For the Bachelor of Commerce (International Hotel Management) program, the minimum entry requirements are a Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/H7 level in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language, Mathematics, and any two other subjects recognized for entry purposes after which all applicants are required to attend an interview that will determine their selection.

No, it cannot be compared with IHM shillong for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, as IHM Shillong placements, experience, and exposure are far better than SIHM Durgapur. IHM Shillong has an average placement rate of 90%. Big hotel brands like Leela, Taj, and Oberoi visit the campus for placements. Students also get placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month.

Yes, Quantum School of Hospitality and Tourism provides various scholarships based on your CUET score. Students having a 80% and above CUET percentile gets a 100% scholarship in the hotel management couse and there are various other slabs of scholarship according to your CUET score.

The duration of Certificate in Hotel Management at Quantum School of Hospitality and Tourism is 18 months and the fees for one year is INR 2.1 Lacs which includes the hostel fees. The placements are excellent. 85% of the students are placed with maximum salary of INR 33.5 Lacs and average is INR 6 Lacs. Therefore, considering all this, the course is not highly priced and it is worth doing it.
