Steps to fill MAH HM CET Application Form 2026:

  • Register using Name, Guardian name, Gender, Marital Status and Date of Birth, Religion, Region, Mother Tongue, Annual Family Income (Optional), and Nationality, address, contact details, etc. 
  • Complete OTP verification.
  • After verification of OTP, the Candidates will be given an “Application Number”, save it.
  • Fill the rest of the application form.
  • Next, fill in the Domicile and Category details.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra activated the MAH HM CET 2024 application form link on its official website cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates who wish to apply for the MAH CET 2024 coud access the link and register online. The application form link was made available until February 29, 2024. Along with the MAH HM CET 2024 Notification, the CET cell also released all important dates and events calendar.

There is no option to apply for MAH HM CET 2026 exam in offline mode. Also, application form, filled offline after making a copy of the online form, and submitting it at the admission office is not acceptable . 

Candidates must note that the MH HM CET 2026 application process is completely online. So, to fill out the form, candidates have to go to the MAH BHMCT CET 2026 admission portals -  cetcell.mahacet.org. Click on the application link, fill in all the essential details, upload documents, and pay the fee to complete the application process.

MAH HM CET 2026 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra State only. Each MAH HM CET test centre has many "Venues" depending upon the number of candidates appearing at that centre. Candidates who appeared for CET will be asked to give their preference for the centre while filling MAH HM CET 2026 online application form. However, the Competent Authority reserved the right to allocate the centre and venue.

MAH HM CET 2026 will be conducted in online mode. MAH BHMCT CET will held by Maharashtra CET Cell. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell will release all the information in the MAH HM CET 2026 official notification. The Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH BHMCT CET) is conducted every year for admission in Government Aided Institutes offering HMCT Courses, Un-Aided HMCT Institutes. MAH HM CET Exam Date 2026 has not been announced yet.

The MAHA BHMCT CET syllabus contains English Language, Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic), General Knowledge & Awareness including questions on current national, international affairs, culture, trade & commerce, sports, scientific inventions and discoveries, travel/tourism etc.

MAH HM CET 2026 will be held in computer-based test format. It will have MCQ type questions. There will be no negative marking and all questions will be asked in English Language only. BHMCT CET will have 100 questions to be answered in 90 mins. MHMCT CET will have 50 questions to be answered in 60 mins. In BHMCT CET, each question will be of 1 mark. In BHMCT CET, each question will be of 2 marks. The exam pattern for MAH HM CET  will be different for BHMCT CET and MHMCT CET in terms of subjects, syllabus and weightage.

For BHMCT CET 2025, candidates must be Indian nationals. They must have passed HSC with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories and PWD). For MHMCT CET 2025, candidates must be Indian nationals. They must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories and PWD). MAH HM CET 2025 will be held for admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) course. The common entrance test for 4 years UG HMCT course is called BHMCT CET and for 2 years PG HMCT course, it is called MHMCT CET. For the Bachelor level, the admission is granted to the BHMCT course. The CET cell will hold the MAH-B.HMCT CET 2024 for admission to the first year of the four-year full-time graduate degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT), for the academic year 2025-26.  MAH BHMCT CET is held once a year.
