The downsides of Hotel Management field can be as follows:

  • Hotel management typically involves shift work, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hence, work patterns can be stressful and hectic, especially during peak seasons like holidays or festive occasions.
  • Additionally, hospitality industry can be a little demanding, with frequent guest interactions and high expectations, plus dealing with difficult customers or managing high demands can also be stressful.
  • It can also take a good amount of time to get promoted in the ranks, and salaries may be relatively low in the early years.
