Hi,
Nothing goes for a waste, the more you learn the easy you grow. For promotions always qualification and experience are taken together to promote. MHM would be suggested also try for MBA in hospitality management. If your specific about any particular department out of 4 core or finance, marketing, HR or anything else. I suggest you to specialise only in that so you will have a clear insight about what you want to do. I am passionate about HR and I am doing my BHM now and I will probably choose MBA in HR to upgrade my knowledge about HR and get a better posting rather studying all the 4 core departments again. No, you have to complete your 12th standard also. After 12th you have many entrances like AIMA UGAT, AIHMCT, What, BVP CET, DTE HMCT and JET.

Hotel Management is about four core departments. It will be helpful for you to analyse which you need to choose in future. In that case Culinary Arts is a single specialization in Cooking. If you want to master in cooking and be a chef then go for Culinary Arts. If you want to choose other departments, then it is suggested to take BHM to brush your basics and get to choose the right field.

To admit in MBA, you have to have a Graduation degree first. After Diploma, you can join graduation course directly to the 2nd year. Then, from there you need to complete your graduation, and then you will be eligible for the MBA. All the best.
