The minimum qualification for Catering courses is a cleared class 10+2, and if it would be in relevant stream then it will be a plus for the candidate who is seeking a career in catering profession. 

Other than that candidates can also pursue Diploma or certificate courses, and if they want to gain an expertise then they should go for degree courses in the catering coures or related streams.
