If you want to pursue diploma in hotel management, you will have to pass 12th in any stream with the minimum required marks (different for different colleges, usually 50%). Some IHM like IHM Hajipur offers Diploma without any entrance, you just have to fill a form and then if seat is available then you get it. You must have English as one of your subjects in 12th.

There are a total of 75 IHM (21 central, 25 state, 1 PSU, 24 Private, and few others) in India they are specifically for this course. You'll have to give NCHM JEE conducted by NTA for this

Several colleges offer Hotel Management courses without entrance exams and at a relatively low cost. For instance, UEI Global (Delhi, Pune, etc.) offers a BBA in Hotel Management with fees ranging from INR 3.5 to 5 Lakhs for 3 years. Other options include the RIG Institute (Noida), which has a 3-year BHM programme and fees between INR 3 to 5 Lakhs. Additionally, SRM Institute (Chennai) offers a B.Sc. in Hotel & Catering Management with fees between INR 3 to 5 Lakhs for 3 years.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply for any of the offered UG programmes. ITM Institute of Hotel Management, Oshiwara offers BBA, BA and BSc at the UG level.
