Both the courses BID and Bachelors in Designing are completely different from each other as they offer completely different job opportunities.

BID stands for Bachelors of Interior Designing in interior design is a course of four year duration, of undergraduate level that provides the candidates with the necessary skills in the field of interior and space designing, furniture and textile designing. 

However, Bachelors in Designing a three year course that provides specializations to students like multimedia designing, visual communication, graphic designing, textile designing, VFX design, accessory designing, etc. The job opportunities for a person who has pursued Bachelors in Designing are mainly in the field of game designing, animation VFX and many more.

The university offers various UG programmes with a duration of 4 years. The course is aimed at imparting the thorough knowledge and know-how basics of the profession. Further, candidates seeking admission to IES University UG programmes, must be Class 12 passed in PCM/PCMB stream with minimum 45% marks from recognised board/university.

After the application process, if a candidate is selected, they will be invited to participate in an entrance test, interview, or counseling session.
