As per the eligibility criteria for IIM Rohtak Certificate courses, candidates must pass graduation or any equivalent degree in the relevant stream from a recognised university. This course is designed for working professionals. The applicants must have an experience of two year at the time of applying for the course.

- 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD).
- 20 years as on June 30, 2023.

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent overall grade point average in any discipline can apply for the EPGDSM course at IIM Rohtak. Additionally, applicants with some work experience in the relevant field are given preference. At the time of form filling and admission, candidates shall have the important documents such as bachelor's degree mark sheets, photo identity proof, etc. or else candidates are considered ineligible.

The candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate for General category students. Students belonging to the SC/ST/PWD (DA) category will be given a concession of 5% in the total aggregate. This means, the candidates belonging to these categories should have a minimum of 55% aggregate to qaulify for the exam. Moreover, the selection process includes IPM Aptitude Test. To qualify for the exam, candidates must check the IPMAT syllabus and preparation strategy.
