The last year aggregate minimum CAT cutoff for general category for top five Iims are given below for an idea.
1. IIM Ahmadabad : 80 percentile
2. IIM Kolkata : 85 percentile
3. IIM Rohtak : 95 percentile
4. IIM Indore : 90 percentile
5. IIM Bangalore : 85 percentile
Apart from above the individual sectional cutoff for VARC, DI&LR and QA are also important and for most of the Iims these remains above 70 percentile.

First, You should have syllabus with yourself and then read the preparation tips of the toppers. Then make your preparation plan according to your convenience and arrange the study material which will help you to plan and after few months start solving previous year papers.

Secure a high CAT percentile of 95+, then probably you could be considered for A, BCA nominal percentile of 85-95 can fetch you I, K calls.

Dear, The Iims are most sought after by MBA aspirants who want to pursue a management degree from top B-schools. However, Indian Institute of Management does not offer Distance MBA courses. So, the candidates who plan to pursue Iims' distance MBA, must look for courses offered in distance learning mode.

Hi Aditya. IIM admission process involves three stages. The first stage is the minimum percentile requirement in CAT which differs from IIM to IIM. The second stage consists of What (Written Ability Test) / PI (Personal Interview) or AWT rounds. Shortlisted candidates from second-round go through to the third stage where extracurricular activities, work experience, the academic record is weighed in. On the basis of all these three stages, you get an admission into this premier management institute of India. One important requirement to qualify for getting shortlisted by the Iims is scoring high and balanced sectional percentile in CAT.
