There are three sections in CAT, so I will tell you section wise.
Reading Comprehension
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power and also to boost your current affair knowledge. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. But reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis. DI is one of the toughest section especially from previous 2-3 years. Hello,
If you have scored 80+ in class 10th and class 12th, then anything above 99 percentile will fetch you a call from old IIMS as well as new IIMS. Good Luck.

Hello,Provided you have scored at least 50% marks in your B.Tech, you are eligible to appear for the CAT and then join an IIM (if performed well in its interviews). Good luck.
