Hello Mayank, Few Iims have either increased the fees or have processed the increase. MBA candidates will now have to pay around 5-17 percent more for the 2018-20 batch. Inflationary pressure and high operational cost including infrastructure cost and faculty salaries are the main reasons cited behind the fee hike by the officials of Iims. Candidates will now pay Rs. 80,000-2 Lacs more for their MBAs in the academic year 2018-20. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Trichy, IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, and IIM Amritsar have already announced the fee hike. Fees of top Iims for 2 years PGDM (2016-18):

Hi Shahid, You can get into Iims with good CAT score. Weightage of 10th, 12th and graduation marks is around 30%. Good %ile in CAT and interviews can overcome less score in your academics. All the Best.

To seek admission in IIMs, you need to have a score of 99 percentile in CAT and should have scored minimum 50% marks at graduation level. However, with a score of 95 percentile, you should be able to get into an institute, which fall into the top 50 MBA ranked colleges.

MBA from both the institutes is good. If you are from technical background, then IIT is a better option for technical-related streams and if not, then IIM is always good for any graduate.

Both are good. MBA from IIM Ahmedabad or Bangalore or Calcutta is very much valued abroad. It is valued more than many universities and colleges in the world. In India, you will have a benefit of low fee structure. In aboard, if you get scholarship, then it will be cheap too. I think more than brand name of the institute your skills and knowledge matters. Choose according to money you are ready to spend. Both are good.
Best of luck!

Hello Aditya,
There are very less chances to get admission in IIM. So, you will search college according to your number.
