You can enter IISER by taking any one of the following exams.
- KVPY. All students who recieved provisional KVPY scholarship are eligible to aplly at IISER.
- JEE Advanced. You must rank with in first 15000 students in your respective category.
- IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). Cutoff for this test changes every year.

The fees of 5-year course at IISER Bhopal is Rs 4,25,000, while IISER Pune charges Rs 2,76,000 for 5-year programme.
So, IISER Bhopal is much more costlier than IISER Pune.
But at the same time IISER Bhopal is ranked higher than IISER Pune, so you should examine all parameters before choosing a college.

The IISER Bhopal is one of the top universities in Bhopal. It was established in 2007. The government announced this university as an autonomous institute. Aspiring students can choose from courses in BSc, BSc and MSc (dual degrees), integrated PhD (iPhD), and PhD offered by IISER Bhopal. The Centre for Research on Environment and Sustainable Technologies (CREST), the Centre for Research in Advanced Technology for Education in Science (CREATES), and the Centre for Science and Society (CS2) are the three Centres of Excellence within the institute.

The IISER Bhopal offers three admission channels such as the SCB (STATE CENTRAL BOARD), KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana), and IIT JEE Advanced for admission to the BS and BS-MS (Dual Degree) programmes.
