Hi, I would suggest you to opt for ILS law college as this is one of the oldest law institutions in India and one of the top law colleges in India as well. The faculty is well experienced and the main reason being the various moot court competitions, seminars and guest lectures conducted by the college. Also, ILS has one of the best libraries across the country. The placements provided by ILS are very good. For Diploma in Taxation Laws, the prospectus is available online on ILS website. You will have to purchase it. It should have all the details. If doubts still persist, you can call ILS, contact details are there on the website.
For your information, it is a residential course.

As you are a B.Com graduate hence you are eligible to apply for LLB. The eligibility criteria is as under-
1. You should have a BA / B.Sc / B.com degree with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
2. There is also a 2% Weightage for the post graduate degree holders.
For seeking admission in this law course the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview.
The course duration of LLB law course is of three years.

Hi Priya,
Yes, there is a 3-year course available as well, i.e. LLB. For getting enrolled in this course you need to take MHCET LAW entrance exam, similar to what the 5-year course students have to give.

MH-CET has been made mandatory for admissions to ILS.
However this year's MH-CET has already been conducted, furthermore applications had closed in April last week.
For next year, if you are interested in law, stay tuned to Directorate of Higher Education website, Maharashtra State from March onwards.

Hi Tanya,
To get admission in ILS Law College, Pune, you need to give the MH-CET law exam. One can get admitted in ILS by the ranking in this entrance exam. The last date to apply for the entrance is May 1, 2017. All the best!

Hello,
Yes, she can sit for MHCET (LAW) for the 5-year law course which can be done after 12th standard. The last date for filling the form is May 1. So, you need to fill it fast if you want your daughter to sit for it.

Hi Sakshi,
It is difficult to say which college is the best college for you because it depends what you are looking for in a law college.
Also, one can go for a 5 year integrated course right after their 12th standard or go for a 3 year LLB programme after graduation. I hope this answers your question.
