Vignan's Institute of Information Technology accepts APICET scores to shortlist candidates for the admission to MBA and MCA courses. Based on scores, the cutoff gets release. According to Vignan's Instiute of Information Technology cutoff 2024, the MCA and MBA closing ranks stood at 11410 and 29758 for the General Home State category candidates. Likewise, for the OBC category, the cutoff was 6767 and 10201 under Home State category. The admission for MCA at University Post Graduate College, Secunderabad, Osmania University is entrance based. For MCA course at UPGC, candidates need to appear for OUCET also known as TS ICET exam. The students need to score good in the entrance exam to get the admission.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur admission process begins with registration. The institute releases the application form online for all programmes. Admission to O and A Level courses is based on NIELIT Entrance Exam scores. GATE is considered for admission to M.Tech programme of NIELIT. For certificate and Diploma programmes, the selection is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam.

Candidates only require GATE if they are applying for National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur M.Tech programme. However, aspirants can apply for M.Tech even without GATE by providing institute or university level exam scores. The instiute conducts NIELIT Entrance Exam for O and A Level courses. For all other programmes, selection is merit-based.
