To be a part of MCA at LD College of Engineering, Ahmedabad, you need to appear for the CMAT entrance examination.
You should have a bachelor's degree in any area from a identified college.
You need to have studied Mathematics both in 10+2 or at some stage in your commencement.
Minimum marks required are 50% for fashionable category and 45% for reserved classes.
After CMAT, admissions are via counseling through the Gujarat ACPC.
You need to put up documents and pay expenses after seat allotment.
CMAT registration commonly begins in November and the exam is held in February.

f you're coming from PCB and only studied maths till 10th, BCA at Parul University requires mathematics or statistics in 12th, so it may not be a match for you. Beyond just eligibility, student feedback suggests average teaching quality and limited learning support, so if you're not comfortable with maths, it may be tough.

Yes, BCA is available as a separate course and not just as an integrated BCA + MCA program. Most colleges and universities in India offer a standalone 3-year BCA degree after 12th (preferably with Maths or Computer Science). The integrated BCA + MCA is a 5-year course meant for students who already know they want to pursue a master's right after graduation. So you can choose either based on your goals — both options are valid and recognized.

A TANCET MCA percentage score of 50.572 is generally considered average and may not be sufficient for admission to top level colleges. Although this may be acceptable for some institutions, it is unlikely to secure a seat in highly competitive people such as Anna University or PSG College of Technology.
