Hi, eligibility criteria for BCA varies from college-to-college. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to BCA colleges in Mumbai is as follows. The candidates:
- Must have passed Class 12 in any stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate between 45% to 55% and also, with English as a subject (pass percentage may vary in different colleges).
- Candidates can get admission on merit basis, written exam, or on the basis of a personal interview. This also varies from college to college.
Apart from merit-based admission, colleges conduct entrance exams such as CUET, SET, IPU CET, etc. for BCA in India.

Considering the JEE Main cutoff 2024, yes, it is possible to get IT at Shree LR Tiwari College with a percentile of 88.144. The Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering accepts JEE Main entrance exam scores, followed by the JoSAA counselling process for entry into the BTech programs. UNIRAJ offers admission to various BTech courses. Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering cutoff 2024 has been released based on opening and closing ranks. As per the Shree L.R. Tiwari College of Engineering JEE Main cutoff 2024, the JEE Main Last Round closing rank for Information Technology course was 137964 for the unreserved quota.

The BTech in IT syllabus includes important subjects such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Theory of Computation, Basics of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Web Development, etc. There are a lot of interesting elective subjects as well for students to choose from like Control System Engineering, Internet and Web Security Protocols, Wireless Sensor Network, Cloud Computing, etc. The BTech IT syllabus and differs from college to college but the general concepts taught in the BTech IT classes are usually similar.

As some of the characteristics of BCA course at KKHSOU Assam, it is noteworthy that to qualify to join the programme candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream (Vocational Stream inclusive) from any Council/ University approved by UGC. The last two were formed through political influences, there are no entrance test and Merit based admission system. It is an UG programme spanning four years in Open and Distance Learning Mode. The total programme cost is INR 44 K, inclusive of a project fee of INR 1200 in the 8th semester.

Yes, Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology does offer MCA programme. The course is offered in full-time mode. Admission to the course is done on the basis of score obtained by the students in the accepted entrance exam. Interested students need to appear for the MAH MCA CET and must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate and Mathematics or Statistics as a subject in Class 12 or higher leve.
