When reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will be required to bring with them their WBJEE JECA hall ticket and one original proof of identity.

One of the following proofs of identity can be submitted before the authorities at the centre - Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID or any Govt. authorized photo proof of identity. If the proof of identity is not submitted, the candidates will be prohibited from attempting the exam.

Yes. As per the official WBJEE JECA exam pattern, there is a negative marking for wrong answers. For Category I questions, 1/4th of the mark will be deducted for wrong answers. There is no negative marking for Category II questions. Because in Category I there is negative marking, the candidates should be cautious while giving answers.

No, you do not need to prepare for the Aptitude test as per the WBJEE JECA syllabus. The Aptitude and Mathematics section has been removed from the syllabus, and you would only need to study topics from the BCA and similar level courses.

Yes. You must stick to the WBJEE JECA syllabus as released online by the authorities. If the candidates are aware of the syllabus, they will be able to make their study plan such that they have sufficient time to finish the syllabus and practice it. Knowing the syllabus will also enable the candidates to understand what is expected to be answered in the question paper.
