A range of courses in information, electronics, and communications technology (IECT) are available at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Kohima. Some of the courses have the following fees:
BCA (one course): 50% of UG Two-course diploma: 26.1 K - 50.7 K
Diploma (4 courses) after 10th grade: 22.1 K - 1.4 L
In addition, NIELIT Kohima provides short-term courses. For example, the Internet of Things using Raspberry PI course costs 1,000 INR for three hours per day for one week. As per latest reports and students' reviews, B.Sc placements are good at RGIITB. About 70% to 80% of students got placement every year. The highest package after B.Sc Degree is about INR 70,000 and the lowest is INR 25,000. Most of the research Institutes are linked together and after M.Sc, we can get that opportunity to work there. The internship rate is 60% at RGIITB for B.Sc.
