Hello Nishar Ahmed, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology at Srinagar grants admission for informal courses is based on an entrance exam that the institute conducts twice in a year. Merit in this examination will determine the admission. For formal courses, for which the certificate and degree is awarded by the University to which this Institute is attached, there is no entrance exam and the admissions are given based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. There is no mention of any cut off for getting admission in informal courses in various sources that I could lay my hands on.
