For Indian students seeking admission, the eligibility criteria for the B.Tech (AI&ML) programme at SIT are as follows: Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Additionally, they must have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational. Minimum Marks: The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the aforementioned subjects taken together. However, for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, a minimum of 40% marks is required. Entrance Exam: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have good scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE), JEE (Main), or any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination. International Students (NRI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals): International students seeking admission, including NRI (Non-Residential Indians), PIO (Persons of Indian Origin), and Foreign Nationals, must fulfill the following eligibility criteria: Academic Qualifications: Similar to Indian students, international students must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They should also have studied one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational. Minimum Marks: International students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the subjects mentioned above, taken together. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, a minimum of 40% marks is required. Entrance Exam: International students are exempted from appearing for entrance exams such as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE), JEE (Main), or any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination conducted in India. Please note that the eligibility criteria mentioned above are specific to the B.Tech (AI&ML) programme at SIT and may vary for other institutions or programs.

Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject with a minimum of 55 percent marks. Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. There is no age limit for the candidates. Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA. SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects. A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration. 2021 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE).

The fee structure for B.Tech in IT in IIT, Sonepat includes the tuition fee, student activity fee, institute development fee, skill development and education tour costs, examination fee, medical insurance, alumni fee, student welfare fund, admission/registration fee, watch and ward/transportation expenses, institute security fee, library security fee, hostel room rent, caution money, double seater room charges, and mess charges.
