The MCA programme at Thapar University is spread over a period of two years, consisting of four semesters. The students study courses for three semesters at the Institute and do a Software Development Project (SDP) in the fourth semester in some reputed industry. Therefore, the university does provide a project. However, it can be considered as an internship but not as a full-fledged one.
